What does a typical day look like for you, Nathan? (If there is such a thing!)
Nathan: Every day is different; I might meet with an existing supplier in the morning, deal with a new requirement query or an existing contract and then spend time in the afternoon examining some spend data.
What’s the most rewarding part of your role?
Nathan: I really like influencing positive change and making savings for the company. I find it rewarding at the end of a project when I can see that we are buying smarter and/or cheaper.
What makes Yeo Valley a special place to work?
Nathan: Our lovely rural locations, fab colleagues, our distinctive brand and the subsidised shop and canteen!
How long have you worked for Yeo Valley, Duncan?
Duncan: I have worked for YV for nearly 12 years.
How did you get to where you are?
Duncan: I joined the company after working in the Packaging industry for a number of years. It was a new role to oversee the new projects in the Packaging Development department.
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your role?
Duncan: The removal of Chocolate Ice cream from the YV range - worst day of my life!
If you were a Yeo Valley yogurt flavour, which one would you be and why?
Nathan: Passionfruit Curd - because it’s my favourite.
Duncan: Limited Edition…because why not?
