So, what will I be doing?

As a Finance Apprentice with Yeo Valley you will study the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship over 24 months, through Weston College.

You'll spend most of your week with Yeo Valley Finance Team at Acorn House (Highbridge), and attend Weston College occasionally to learn the theoretical elements of the role.

Your assessment will be done in the workplace, where you will receive visits from your college  assessor.  You'll undertake a number of qualifications including the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 Advanced Diploma.

The programme covers a range of topics, including advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, management accounting (costing), indirect tax, ethics for accounting, and spreadsheets.

At the end of the apprenticeship you'll be required to do an end point assessment which includes: the AAT Advanced Diploma assessments, skills tests, a portfolio of evidence, a synoptic assessment and a professional discussion.

Please read the attached job specification for what you will be doing around your studies in the workplace.
