So, what will I be doing?

As Planning Analyst you'll be providing key analytical resource for detailed projects to improve our supply chain performance & forecasts, as well as supporting and developing the Planning & Replenishment Excel based systems. Within this role you will interact with many different departments around the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and developing the Planning & Replenishment Excel based systems, including developing new systems and dealing with issues such Excel related issues 
  • Working with the Customer Demand function to provide analysis and recommendations to improve the quality of our forecasts
  • Providing key analytical resource for detailed projects to improve our supply chain performance ,for example creating Excel spreadsheets to facilitate site labour plans and creating forecast accuracy reports

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

The important things:

  •   Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrable skills in statistical analysis
  •   Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent IT Skills ( Microsoft Excel) including Excel (Visual Basic for Applications/VBA)
  • An ability to influence people at all levels
  • Positive attitude & good interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Being able to work to strict deadlines

    Even better if:

  •  Experience in production planning/replenishment or related discipline in a relevant manufacturing environment
  •  SQL view creation skills, simple view interrogation 
  •  Excel Power pivot/power query knowledge
  •  Experience of dashboard reporting
  •  Experience of Dynamics and TXT software packages
  •  Experience in other software packages – Power BI, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office & Teams
  •  Drivers Licence (the role will involve occasional travel)
