So, what will I be doing?

The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of facilities as well as building compliance within the public facing Blagdon venues including YVHQ, The Garden Café, The New Inn, Rural Stays and YVHQ Serviced Offices. They will lead and improve standards, implement systems and manage a high performing team of eight including housekeeping, maintenance and reception.
 
The role will involve:
 
  • Health and Safety
  • Leadership, Management and Accountability of Team
  • Supplier and Contractor Management
  • Maintenance, Reception, Housekeeping
  • Security and Fire Management
 
Hours: This is a 40 hour per week position, based at our Head Office in the village of Blagdon. 
 
 Salary: £45,000

We’re looking for someone to support the Operations Manager in delivering building compliance and maintaining health and safety standards. You should be confident that you can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience – As a Facilities Manager or a similar role
  • Organised and proactive – Able to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and creative requests with ease.
