So, what will I be doing?

We’re looking for a driven and creative communications professional to support the growth of our new direct to consumer channel (Online Farm Shop) and Loyalty scheme (Yeokens).

Yeo Valley Organic is the UK’s largest organic brand, from its award-winning dairy to its fundamental belief that nature has the answer, this exciting new post will involve working across all areas of managing an ecommerce channel and well-established loyalty scheme.

The successful applicant will be a commercially minded marketer with great interpersonal skills. This role will suit someone with some existing broad marketing experience and good time and project management skills.

You will be responsible for assisting in the growth of our fledgling ecommerce shop covering everything from helping manage suppliers, running acquisition marketing campaigns and managing external agencies.

You’ll also be helping to run our loyalty scheme that talks to around 10% of our most loyal consumers. This will involve communications planning and activation as well as working with our head of partnerships to manage rewards.

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

You’ll need to be comfortable with data and happy to keep an eye on the ‘numbers’ to maximise shop profit and improve effectiveness of our loyalty programme. Although you will be well supported by your manager and external agencies, having a good eye for the insights inside the data will be invaluable.

If you are passionate about nature, sustainability, organic farming, and the issues facing our wildlife and world and you want to develop your experience of marketing and communications across a range of channels, this is the opportunity for you.

About you:

  • You have demonstrable experience working in a marketing or communications role (in-house or agency) ideally 2+ years.
  • Ideally you will have a relevant Marketing degree or qualification.
  • Experience within an ecommerce retailer is a bonus but not essential.
  • You will have experience of outbound marketing, particularly digital.
  • You are a motivated self-starter who is well organised and able to manage their time to achieve the project objectives.
  • Data doesn’t scare or bore you, in fact you quite like it.
  • You can manage a wide group of stakeholders and get the most out of the wider team.
  • You are proactive, creative and dedicated to producing high quality work.
  • You have an interest in organic farming and sustainability issues.
To apply please upload your CV including a cover letter (you will need to merge 2 documents into one PDF file to upload as our system only allows one document to be uploaded), detailing your suitability for the role and interest in the post.

Why should I join the family?

We’re always on the lookout for talented people to come and join us here in the Valley. We might be a group of businesses all owned by the Mead family, but we do things very differently here. Everyone who works with us is part of our family (all 1800 of us).

We’ve got 10 sites spanning 8 locations across Somerset, Devon, and most recently London, and we’ve got people doing all sorts of things, from hospitality and property management through to sales and marketing as well as technical, engineering, farming and dairy operations roles.

We’re sure you don’t need convincing, but there’s a whole host of benefits that we offer including:

  • Competitive holiday allowance
  • Non-contributory pension scheme
  • Life cover
  • Healthcare cash back plan
  • Subsidised Yeo Valley products and services

Our closing dates are a guide for when the application window should close, although we may close the advert sooner if we can. So, we recommend you get your application in straight away – and don’t miss the opportunity to join us!

Please note that Yeo Valley do not accept speculative agency applications.
