So, what will I be doing?

As an Applications Developer / Analyst you will be joining the IT team in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Forever. Working closely with the Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for helping to deploy a new ERP system (IFS) and supporting and developing that and other applications going forwards.

In this role you can expect to be involved in some or all of the following activities:

  • Helping to design how the new system will be used
  • Analysing business needs and requirements and designing how to satisfy them within applications
  • Application security setup
  • Reporting writing using: SQL queries, IFS lobbies and Power BI
  • Data Migration
  • Building interfaces using Boomi middleware
  • Providing application support on existing systems

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

  • At least 2 years’ experience working with an ERP system
  • Experience analysing business requirements and applying them to application design
  • Knowledge of SQL programming language
  • Understanding of software implementation lifecycle
  • Experience at providing training on business applications.
  • High level of general IT literacy
  • Ability to work under own initiative and maintain deadlines
  • Experience with MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • A full drivers license to travel between our sites

These skills aren't essential but understanding of these systems or concepts would be a bonus:

  • IFS
  • PL/SQL
  • PHP
  • Dynamics AX2012
  • Power BI
  • Boomi middleware
