So, what will I be doing?

Are you ready to take on an important role within a sustainable and supportive team? At our Cannington site, we're looking for a skilled and adaptable Multiskilled Operator to help produce our high-quality organic dairy products. Working in our base supply department you'll be influential in ensuring we have the best quality product available for our customers.


As a Multiskilled Operator, you'll not only be reliable for operating and maintaining advanced machinery but also taking on a leadership role within the team. You'll be key in ensuring smooth, efficient production while setting the standard for safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Your ability to lead by example will inspire your colleagues to maintain high standards and work as team in a fast-paced setting.

 

Shift Pattern is 4 on 4 off rolling shift, working 6pm-6am.


Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with the intake of raw materials.
  • Operating pasteurisers & mix tanks.
  • Testing of base mixes and product, recording results and monitoring waste.
  • Undertaking routine checks to validate and maintain equipment safety control systems.
  • Escalating any food safety breach or quality issues.
  • Training and coaching and mentoring others to build capability. 
  • Energising the team and demonstrating a consistently enthusiastic approach, taking action quickly and encouraging others to do the same.

Essential:

  • Good team working skills
  • Able to undertake manual tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication
  • Relevant work experience as a machine Operator in a production environment 

Desirable: 

  • Basic Food hygiene
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Engineering skillset
