So, what will I be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Department at Yeo Valley Cannington.- This is a rotating shift pattern. This role is a 6 month FTC with the possibility of going to permanent position. 

 

  • Demonstratable commitment to people and food safety through actively managing own work and the work of others in line with legislative, company and working procedures.
  • Ensure the engineering team is utilised in the most efficient way through effective use of CMMS workflows, maintenance planning and prioritisation of work to meet operational needs.
  • Proactively drive and deliver the highest standard of asset care through the application of best practice, developed knowledge and technical expertise. 

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

Essential:

 

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Electrical).
  • Higher learning qualification in Engineering discipline
  • Demonstratable application of engineering knowledge
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Developed knowledge and understanding of enhanced asset care
  • Demonstratable capability in the application of advanced fault-finding techniques
  • Developed knowledge and application of RCM
  • Understanding of OEE of the impact of engineering
  • Ability to develop knowledge in self and others
