Process Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a Process Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering team at our Blagdon manufacturing site. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced engineering professional with strong process, automation or controls expertise.

You’ll lead a specialist team, improve asset reliability, support capital projects and help shape how technology is used to improve manufacturing performance.

If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, developing people and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment, this could be a great next step.

You’ll work closely with engineering and operational teams to improve safety, reliability, performance and long-term manufacturing capability.

• Advocate and influence the commitment to people and food safety through the development and enforcement of working practices in line with legislative, company and working procedures.
• Coach others to effectively develop skills and knowledge of new processes and technologies to support sustainable asset performance.

• Develop diagnostic processes and data integrity to aide and facilitate problem solving in complex processes and systems. Provide subject matter expertise or technical knowledge to identify, resolve and prevent faults and failures.
• Lead process engineering, automation and controls activity across the Blagdon site with a team of Process SMEs and Automation Engineers.
• Support the specification, evaluation and delivery of capital projects. Share technical knowledge and build capability across the wider Engineering team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reduce repeat failures and deliver better business outcomes.

            Essential

• Engineering qualification such as apprenticeship, HND, degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong FMCG or manufacturing engineering background.
• Experience with automation, controls, process systems or automated equipment.
• Confident fault-finding capability in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of asset care, reliability improvement, RCM or OEE.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or leading technical teams.
• Project management experience.
